Can I play on both EU and US servers?

 Subject pretty much sums it up. 

Like Eq2 where you can select EN-EU or EN-US before you load up the client, I was wondering if we can do the same with any retail version of AION.

No and Yes, you can access both NA and EU servers with the same client but not With the same Account.

to access EU servers you need an EU account and Vice versa

So what you are saying is different CD keys, usually 2x accounts = 2cd keys. 

So If I chose EU side I'm stuck there unless I buy another copy of AION. 

Do I have it right?

Yep that is correct

I.e. need to buy the EU copy of Aion to get and EU key and NA version to get NA key

Oh now I see... Good thing you clarified that. So there a Retail version out there that will indicate (THIS IS FOR NA SERVERS) 

and another probably on EU shelves indicating (FOR EU SERVERS). 

 

Good thing I didn't run to the walmart and waste money on NA copy. although with the population in AION I doubt getting an active guild will be a problem at any time of day.

NA= North America lol and if you want to buy an EU key then you probably need to buy it via digital download....
