Why is Torchlight being followed here? It has no multiplayer at all

Title says it all really, why is the game listed and followed on this site when it doesn't even have multiplayer of any type, much less being a MMO. I would really like a explanation for that....and saying because they want to is not adequete, not if you want to be taken seriously.
Why is Diablo 3 (or 1 or 2 for that matter) not listed, they at least have internet multiplay, though I would not consider them a MMO.
Really curious about that. Do they advertise here?

The single player version will be followed by a multiplayer one later in time.

Runic Games' Torchlight is expected to be an action RPG filled with fast-paced battles against many enemies. Torchlight MMO is scheduled to launch after a single-player game based in the same world has been out for about two years. It will be free to play with an item shop.

According the dev, only if it's successfull enough that they can put enough cash back into the single player to develop the netcode, so it's far from being a done deal. The question still stands.
I could be wrong, but I don't think all MMOs are just automatically listed/not listed here. The company making the game has to come here and ask for it to be listed or MMORPG.com has to ask them for permission. Like I said though I could be totally wrong, but at least I am offering a plausible possibility. Also since Torchlight has the possibility of being an MMO I believe that is why it is listed. The devs didn't strictly say that it was or is only going to be a single player game.
