Firstly, sorry to cut out the rest of your post as I thought it was completely blown out of proportion to the point of being silly. Infact I agree with the person you were arguing with, even people who don't use English as a first language should easily be able to understand those minor grammar mistakes that are mentioned in the OP.
Now that aside I just want to mock your double standard. The double standard being the derogatory comment I underlined above.
