Help with CTD's

Well these CTD's are making the game unplayable for me. While I am in game I am getting around 20 - 25 fps in the starter town but the game crashes literally every minute or so. I know other people have been having problems with this and was wondering if there is anything I can do to stop it or at least stop it happening so often?

    There are a lot of guru's on the official forums that have posted great info on tweeking your system.

    Two things that helped me were adjusting 2 settings on my Nvidia card, disable Physx and setting Max pre rendered frames to 1.

    I havent had a CTD sinse I did those two, steady as a rock.
