I was just wondering if its possible (effective) to run 2 - 3 EQ2 accounts on 2 - 3 computers through a router with only one "cable internet" connection? If it is possible is there any lag issues directly caused by that configuration.
Thanks in advance for all the help.

oh you're good to go. if it was DSL, you might have a small problem with lag (depending on your bandwith/how close you are to the node), but cable is perfect for running more than one computer though. i've got cable for 3 computers, all sharing 3 meg. it's beautiful when I can download something and not lag the game on the other.
No more "Are you downloading something?! I just got killed by a rat!" hehe
EQ2 Mantra: Get more RAM. Get more RAM.
Games like this use way less bandwidth than you would expect. There is no way you should have any problems at all.
I am runnng the beta on dail-up now and do not have lag issues ISP related. MMORPGS really do not use up alot of bandwith unless there is 100s of players around and even then i think the graphic card has issues. BTW I shared a dial up on DAOC and didnt have problems with either puter crashing unless there was over 60 players per side.
