Immersive pve, Raiding, crafting, trading, some pvp

Ok i've been melting my eyeballs looking for a suited mmorpg for me. Already read most of the threads up to page 3, and i've learned from past experiences that there is a good reason to have sticky ones.

If only i could merge 2 games: I started in the world of Guildwars a few years back, 2 years later a friend convinced me to try the "almighty" wow. I'll try to make this less boring and extensive to read, i'll not go over all of it, hopefully my readers know in general how this two game roll.

GW:

- I'm more a pve person, and guild wars ruined (in a good sense) my wow pvp experience. Although i'm open to some pvp aswell. The 8 skill limit made pvp like a game of cards, you see your adversary's professions but "what skills is he holding" = awsome! gvg...

- guild wars has an impecable way of integrating thhe so-called missions with storyline

- i never felt compelled to reach a certain lvl, the unveil of the story was predominant

WOW:

- raiding was the best! the tactics, the preparation, the coordination, the team effort, etc.

- the combat system: THREAT/AGGRO mechanic has yet to find a rival! avoiding scenary damage while performing.

- THE Auction House! + Professions --> truly a game within a game (sometimes i would log on just to keep my trading/crafting going).

At the moment i'm on 51% left from downloading the client for "Sword of the New World", the pioneer and innovative claims from the critics are irresistable and maybe these guys the "kind-of-heroes" mechanic that gw's nightfall tried.

Basically i'm neglecting to mention the downsides of what made me switch from gw to wow and ultimately stop playing wow.

Hopefully you can relate to the stuff i wrote and make me a happy guy by pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance!

I would say LoTRO also. It has instanced story telling and decent everything else.

When you get bored you can log on a goon and PvP for a bit.

Otherwise wait indefinitely for GW2 =)
