There is a rumor going around that you will only be allowed 4 characters per account, not even 4 per server. How many will you be allowed to have in WoW? Is it still 8 per server?

4, 6, 8....does it really matter al that much. I mean a mmorpg is a big time investment and its not as if a person can play all at the same time.
I dont know about other people, but mainting 4 characters all to a high level would take up more time than I could muster.
Just say no to mules.

why would you put an EQ2 rumor in the WoW forums...?
either way, what does it matter, you really plan on getting max level on 4 characters any time soon?

Bah, be glad they gave you four. In SWG they only gave one. I was thinking they'd continue in that trend and by the time EQ2 came out you'd have time share characters you only go to use a few hours a day when no one else was on it.
Huh? Maybe originally, but not if you get the game now. You can have a bunch on any one one server (it is either 8 or 10).
I bought SWG, played it for a week and gave up. Hate the interface, especially after playing WoW stress beta, and then starting CoH. Just too many keyboard options, too much stuff to research how to use. I don't mind it in later levels, but I don't want to have to learn 150 commands just so I can get to level 2.
Played: WoW Stress beta
Currently playing: City of Heroes
Currently playing:
World of Warcraft
It is worse than SWG.
And for WoW, with a grind as short as it is, I would hope it stays the same as it is now, ~10 per server.

If nothing is being changed from CB, I think you can make 10 characters per server.
