I am thinking about this game.....

From what I have been reading this game sounds awesome. Sounds like it brings out some of my favorite parts of Fallout 3 and threw them into a mmo.

Now I am picky mmo player to a point.

I am poor. so buying the game is out of the question till I can try it. so I have a few questions I would loved answered about this game.

1. Are there buddy keys, or trials to try this game?

2. How big is the community?

3. Do items drop on the ground?

4. Do you harvest good from nodes?

5. How extensive is the crafting system? (I love to craft, hard to find a game with a system as big as eq2)

6. uhhh. Are the pvp areas big?

Well that is all I can think of for now.

    1. Are there buddy keys, or trials to try this game?  I personally have never seen a buddy key or a trial outside of the 1st month free.
    2. How big is the community?  Not sure if you are looking for a number here, but the towns are effing packed with people which gets more sparse the farther you are out in the wilderness.  Chat channels seem to be extremely active.
    3. Do items drop on the ground? You cannot drop an item on the ground.  Moving an item from your inventory to the open world will prompt you for a 'delete item' message.
    4. Do you harvest good from nodes?  Yes,  there are resources nodes that you can harvest that give crafting components.
    5. How extensive is the crafting system? (I love to craft, hard to find a game with a system as big as eq2)  I think this is the best crafting system since Ultima Online personally.  I've heard some people say since SWG before it got all hosed up.  Its extensive enough where some items you craft are actually components for other items you craft.
    6. uhhh. Are the pvp areas big?  From the areas I have visited at my puny level 11, I have encountered very few PvP areas.  I hear they are much more prevalent later on.  I hope someone else can answer this question with better accuracy than myself

Well that is all I can think of for now.  Then that is all I can answer for now :) heh

    2. How big is the community? Not big, but the are other players everywhere you look. Sometimes it seems like too many.
    3. Do items drop on the ground? Some nice materials and ammo. Gear is always junk so you sell or salvage it.
    4. Do you harvest good from nodes? This is an understatement. Nodes are everywhere. You can "skin" everything.
    5. How extensive is the crafting system? (I love to craft, hard to find a game with a system as big as eq2) Crafting won't leave you wanting more.
    6. uhhh. Are the pvp areas big? Subjective answer. The are relatively small areas and towns so probably no is answer you're looking for.

I completely and whole heartedly agree with both of these statements.  I decided to post-n-quote it for emphasis.
