It seems really quiet so far, I'm trying to make small talk but not many people are active at the moment. I have had a few decent back and forths though.

It's a time zone difference alot of your hardcore testers like Sekra or your awesome admins like wiz/zodium are either on in the early morning or late at night. Wolfpack however is on in the afternoon and I'll just hop onto irc when I get home in an hour and talk with ya.
It is quiet for a reason though either because of people testing, or the general distrust of new people since you aren't part of the community yet, and beta keys shouldn't be handed out like candy to people you don't know. Its because of that, that more then likely no one will hand you a beta key by asking. However just be cool and make small talk, like ask Bill if he likes fps games and which he likes, start a conversation with someone and you're bound to end your conversation with a friend who may eventually give you a key.
