WTF MOST MMORPG's have cliffs u can fall off of, and jump. The main reason I HATE Guild Wars is theres no exploration, like someone else already pointed out. You CANNOT go wherever you want, you have to follow the set paths that the devs have made, you cannot take "shortcuts" by jumping over a rock or sliding down a ravine. Its a rat race, and it blows.
Oh how I wish that were true. EQ1 nailed the classes PERFECTLY, WoW's classes are seriously lacking. IE: druids cant forage, rangers cant track, elves have no night vision etc.
All I have to say to the originater of this post is. Its not even in beta its a Preview! The game isnt finished! Realize you are being to needy for somthing that is still being worked on in the pre beta stage! I cant belive how some people complain about free trials of unfinished games. Omg WoW beta surver shut down 2 times this week for patches WTH are they doing??? Guildwars doesnt have full acces to the zones. Why is the preivew of this game to be released "Summer of 2005" uncompleat???

WoW is far supperior to GuildWars and i know becouse ive played for months WoW beta but,im not gonne say guildwars sucks you know why?
Becouse two games not comparable but guildwars is fun fast simple game play get in real easy fast pvp and do fast some quest no depth but who cares its for short play time game play thats it everyday for hour its nice more hours you get bored very fast becouse its simple hack and slash nothing more:P
Im gonne play WoW but also guildwars for the simple fast play for half hour or hour few times a week next to my major game im gonne play and that is WoW.
You think I didn't play it? Man, I was floating sky-high in anticipation of that game, couldn't wait for it. After ToA, which screwed DAoC majorly, I don't see that game going nowhere (until they delete ToA), so I wanted a new game.
EQ2 I was weary off, because of what I knew from EQ1 and SoE's stance towards their sheep... erm... customers.
But, WoW was DA bomb. Then I became a beta-account... *sigh*... there the downfall started. That game simply had nothing in it. All nice on the surface, nothing behind it.
But you are correct, WoW, like EQ2 or CoH or DAoC, is a MMORPG, Guild Wars is CORPG. But, what can be compared across all games is "fun". Because that's what you play Video Games from, relaxing, having fun. Ok, going by that measurement, I think I should pay monthly for Mario Party, and not for Dark Age of Camelot, but...
@whoever corrected me on the WoW-classes Yeah, they are wanna-be rips from EQ1, true. OTOH, many EQ1-classes were unfinished even long time after release, so I think they'll get closer to their actual EQ1 counterparts soon...
