Macbook Pro overheats like crazy when I launch an MMO

Hi everyone, first post here. Figured I'd ask here about this problem. Does anyone else have Macbook pro? Every time I launch a resource-needy game or mmo, the fan starts spinning like crazy and the laptop becomes very hot. I have one of those cooling thingies that you put underneath, but it doesn't help. Any ideas or advice?

    Here rather than an apple forum? As a first post it's a bit obnoxious to be asking for help like that, anywhos

    • How old is your Macbook?
    • If over a year, have you used it for high demanding applications a lot?
    • What are the MMOs are you trying to play?

    In a general sense though, don't use laptops for games, they're shite
