I'm about to pull my hair out because I'm bored, to state the obvious. /sigh
I'm rarely ever one of the types to be "hard to be pleased" but, it seems like it in this case nowadays. Lemme vent a little.
I just cancelled Aion today for various reasons i.e. lacking group play - they're so adamant to get to the Abyss and gank eachother out and find out they can't go to any more rifts or even the Abyss just because they outleveled it.. Gee, I thought to myself.. why rush at all? The game is big on money-grubbin' demand, absolutely.. why would I want to spend uh, 6k kinah to soul heal? You will die a lot, but why should I spend my hard-earned kinah to get some xp back? Shit, I was tryin' to save up some more for one sweet, green plate armor that someone decides to price it for like 65k kinah, okay? lol. As for the wings, that's the main reason most people are stoked to play and finds out they bump into barriers, cant go over the mountains or just because.. but noo, there's a flight timer.. gasp! Shit, we have to look at it cautiously otherwise we'd just drop! Isn't that insane? That's totally time-consuming.. I don't care if it's only 30 seconds and drink some oooh 12 points flight time-back potion.. -_- It so defeats the purpose of this game.. You get wings, you should be able to fly freely and explore the whole damn world.. Sure, why not if some player come across you and just gank you down, just because it's PVE/PVP oriented game. At least you GET to fly!!!! The only pro about it is the graphics.. It's immaculately beautiful.
Moving on.. I tried LoL for a few days and some of folks in the game are so uptight to acknowledge the fact it's beta, not a release.. so who cares who wins and loses. I was just friggin' learning and they dare to blame the defeat on me? wtf.. grow up lol.. I wasn't the only one who constantly died in the game -_- I personally like the creativity of the game.. Kudos to the developers because that game was so much fun, gives you time to think, form new strategies, and try out a variety of champions.. It's very vibrant and colorful.. The community is lacking a little, though.
I also tried Alganon - Edited since that guy gave me threats about NDA violations which none of it has nothing revealed but whatever lol.
Mmm, I've constantly browsed the game list and played most of it.. but maybe there's something I've overlooked and/or you have a better suggestion.
Sorry if I sounded mean up there but I was just stating my opinion and feelings towards them. That's all. Your opinion may be different and you're entitled to it. Thanks for reading.

I wont try and comment on your opinions about the games you have played, because you are fully entitled to them. I guess i would say it depends on the complexity of the game you are looking for.
Although a fairly simple game at its core, i always found City of Heroes fun with friends. There really isnt a crafting system, and the enemies are pretty repetitive, but it was a pretty fun game. Now that champions is out that may be worth some play time as well.
If you are a Star Wars fan at all, maybe SWG is worth giving a shot. I havent played it in probably 4-5 years, but it again may be worth your time.
I guess lastly if you are into a completely player driven game, you should try EVE. I dont have enough time to play myself to even think of trying it, but for those hardcore in mind, it has everything that on should be looking for.
Good luck.
Ironic this was mentioned as I was about to suggest the same. I've played CoX off and on for a few months, but I have just recently returned with two friends and am having a blast in an mmo for once. Granted you have to lose the "rush to endgame" mentality and enjoy the game for what it is, it's been more fun than I'd expected.
EVE (P2P)
Mabinogi (F2P)
Dungeon Fighter (F2P)
DarkFall (P2P)
4 different type of games, "unique" gameplay, very interesting systems.
I strongly suggest you look at these games if you want something truly different from the classic cookie cuter.
First off lemme start off by saying daaaayum girl. LOL jk. In all seriousness, I feel you - I got up to level 31 and just straight up got bored with it. I know you hate VG and all, but I think you should take my word on it this time and give it a swing. I thought it was amazing before, but now it's even better. What killed it for me was the population, but I've seen so many people in the starting areas, I feel like I'm gonna be part of something in there. No, it's not the PvP server, but that's ok - we have AO for that lol.
And 2nd, lol @ you joining "LoL" and getting blamed for their noobishness. Ok now enough posting/venting and come join me - Talemire - Xeth server, start on the new starting island. At least there you have a BIG class choice too, so anything would work for your taste.
City of Heroes is ok but isn't a top suggestion. it's a good time for what it's worth, I like it better than Champions for my own personal reasons. If you are looking for an alt to wow (as it seems you may be) well you are in the same boat with the most of us. Lotro is alright but for most players will become a hellish bore after level 12, AoC was fun up until level 21 but since the new updates, players are swearing it's the answer to all of our woes. Warhammer, isn't an option, lol. At this moment, I may try AoC again. Try the trial if you haven't already.
AoC = Age of Conan
I have the right to like what I want!
Gerry wont let me.. well, he says he refuses to play.. so..
Did you sub to it? Im not sure if there's any more trials and what the limitations on it are... What if we can't party if I choose a trial.. It doesn't mean I'm willing to play.. It means "looking into it" lol...
I've tried DDO, AoC, WAR, WoW (obviously), CoH/Cox/Champions/LOTRO.
I personally like Champions and LOTRO out of those selections but cannot sub right now. Maybe in due time..
Thanks for your suggestions, nonetheless.

Yeah I subbed! I heard all the good stuff and jumped to it. And as far as trial goes we can grp together, and since I got the limited edition I have multiple trial codes So you have zeeeeerrrooo excuse. Lol so what if Gerry doesn't like the game, he will see it too when you play.
Signature. Try it.

VG is full of suck. Graphics made me wanna puke, the combat did make me puke, the art style made me double over in pain!
ok so maybe not really, but i tried it out on 3 seperate occasions and it sucked worse each time. so i'll pass on ever playing it agian Tal =p
try games with a better community its seems like you want group play and interaction, older games seem to have better communitys but less players games like EQ2, and vanguard may be your calling however if you want a F2p id suggest something like mabinogi. im playing aion right now and for the same reasons im sick of it, im looking forward to a few games APB, Tera, and blade and soul. check them out , for me the best way to deal with a games problems is just looking forward to better games
Uh.. I'll check it out.. but try it? I'm already cringing at the way the website looks. Let's see.. :P
Oh Im totally looking forward to Tera, Blade and Soul. I tried Mabinogi.. the graphics killed me. The customizations was bad and I was totally lost in relation to quests.. It had sent me out far away via walking and I come across higher level mobs.. and the bots were just crazy in that game lol.

Quit being fiesty, sweetie pie :P
Upcoming MMO - Take your pick between Star Trek Online or Star Wars the Old Republic, both outstanding games I am more interested in Star Trek personally.
New MMO - Champions Online, seriously, you can spend first week in the character creator alone. Fast paced mmo that will keep you busy. Orrrrr Fallen Earth if you are looking for an open ended challenge & a more complex mmorpg.
Existing MMO - LotrO is pretty old fashion but jam full packed with content. Outstanding music, deep story and very beautiful dx10 graphics.
Not sure if this helps but those would be my recommendations. My guild has chapters in all of those, so if you are also loking for a casual guild to join ( minimum age requirement of 20 ) then check us out, www.gunbad.com

LOL at all the comments because you didn't have enough money for anything. I'm currently level 26 and have about 450.000 Kinah. Next to that I have practically all the best armor for my Templar. And plate armor even is the most expensive. Also, you don't need to pay for XP loss if you died by PvP. So basically you can just run into battle and slash away without being fearful of dieing. Only for PvE you will need to pay up, and it isn't even that much really. If you die a lot in PvE then you are just either unskilled or in the wrong place. You have nothing to do in places where the enemies are 10+ levels above your character.
Above all, I have gathered all my stuff in about 75 hours on the character I'm speaking about. So there is really something wrong with how you are playing the game, not with the game itself. Aion has probably the most easy ways of making money of all the games I played.
As for the good advice: Fallen Earth.
...and then there was Fallen Earth ?
oh wait, girls don't seem to like wasteland themes
To each their own. I can't spend hours and hours killing same stuff over and over I do quests, kill from a to b.. turn it in, get rewards, kill more, watching my back to avoid being ganked, sell stuff to broker.. and why should I just keep doing it? It's repetitive. The game is fun, but not fun enough to keep my subscription intact.
I did their beta, lol. It's sorta of not the kind of game I'd play a long time, you know? I do like wasteland themes.. Didn't Tabula Rasa have that?
Guild wars maybe

Well, everything gets repetitive in the end. Maybe you are searching for something for a little more "sandbox". But I can tell you that there are very, very few games that fall into that description. I went hunting for a new MMO myself the past two weeks. And the only thing that's currently in for the final verdict are Aion and Fallen Earth. Ryzom fell off because it has such a tiny community and I don't see any bright future for the game (as in expansions and things like that). I may be wrong, but I'm not willing to take the chance.
EVE Online is practically the most sanboxy game at the moment, but personally I can't relate to a spaceship as being my avatar, and the setting of the game in general. I just feel very out of place in the EVE universe. For some weird reason it feels like a very empty and creepy world to me.
maybe you should just find a guild or a group of players to play mmos with and just play whatever game their playing, being in a group and having people to experience the game with will always make it better
Just wanted to say you violated the alganon NDA, so might wanna edit that out or legal actions can be taken.
lol, yes, lets not forget the legal actions that can be taken, roflmao
Sinister Savant MMORPG Community
LOL, is it really a violation of any NDA to say what basically amounts to "this game sucks and is full o' bugs"?
And I'm pretty sure the "legal action" they'd be limited to is denying the person the ability to play in the future. And it sounds like she's not exactly lining up to do that as it stands now.
