This is for all of you fantasy thinkers out there such as myself that sometimes like to imagine what it would be like. I personally would like to see our world as Aion. Flying around seems pretty fun.. the only negative part is you'd basically have to kill your brothers and sisters that just look different from you. Threat of being eaten by dragon people doesn't sound too fun either
But cmooooon, everyone wants to have a 12 ft. wingspan and fly around!
Comments
Um, we already fly around. With much bigger wingspans. I'd rather not live in a generic MMO world.
I'd have to say Ragnarok Online would be a nice world to live in. I've always wanted to taste a Poring.
Obviously ultima online, it's the dream for any fan of a medieval world.
I would want real life to be an MMO where women are objects to be acquired through grinding, and beer trickles down waterfalls, forming lakes of sudsy goodness.
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.
That would be great. I would never leave the lakes, would just invite friends that did all the grinding and make them share for endless beer.

lol that sounds awesome!
If the world was a MMORPG, I would have wanted it to be a sandbox.
The last of the Trackers
My vote would be for UO, as well. Deep sea serpent hunting and sunken treasure expeditions? Hell yeah!
- RPG Quiz - can you get all 25 right?
- FPS Quiz - how well do you know your shooters?
ATITD. No war, no killing, everyone cooperates.
In a UO world you'd get stabbed in the back waiting in line to buy groceries. Then the anti-PKs would kill your killer. Yay!

If you include previous Ultima games, grisly murder mysteries as well.
I second this... Although Playboy Online would be nice too...
Just to make things clear...
I speak for myself and no one else, unless i state otherwise mine is just an opinion. A fact is something that can be independently verified, you may challenge such but with proof. You have every right to disagree with me through sound argument, i believe in constructive debate, but baseless aggression will warrant an unkind response.
I'm assuming in the real world we don't get to respawn like in an MMOrpg.
Trying to find my corpse as a ghost would be half the fun. Or walking into a group of angry mobs in order to rez travel places.
How about a world where Women hunt men castrate them and use them as forced labor slaves. Sounds like a good MMO to me, it could have RTS aspects.

I think that MMO has an audience. :P
Meh, just wait about 10-20 years and who knows, you might get to play Fallen Earth for free =D
"Good? Bad? I'm the guy with the gun."
I believe if it were an MMO world, then we'd probably resurrect after death.. that still would hurt though >.<

I would want our world to be Star Trek Oniine.. now that would rock.. :-)
Any asian MMO... I personally love impractical female armor and realism...
I mean come on... if the old women look this good... think about it...

Everquest the first.
I would use modern day cloning techniques to save the kedge and become the true hero of Norrath.

If it existed, and then were to be relayed into a real world...
Firefly the MMO
Heh, I can't decide between Cantha from Guild Wars, or the EVE Online universe. Cantha because it's pretty much my culture before modernism came about, and I've always loved the architecture, costumes and characters from there. To be able to actually live there and fight as a mesmer would be a dream come true. And I'd really love to have flings with about half the henchmen there...
On the other hand, I've recently become interested in science fiction thanks to EVE Online, and I really love the idea of galaxy exploring, the kind we do in EVE. Not to mention, the scenery in all the systems I've visited is extremely beautiful as well, and it is fun traveling through warps and stargates into new systems. Oh, and the idea of traveling using ships and piracy and smuggling, scouting and hacking... it really reminds me of Star Wars.
