Well I don't think this game is much like anything I've ever played.

I think It has a lot of the good features DAOC had, but with a uniqueness that only Blizzard could offer.

Its a game where Level doesn't = a win. A good player is better then a Good charactor.
All classes are fun, and well balances, better then I've ever seen in a game befor. Theres Not going to be a HUGE number of ONE class. If you don't like PvP at all this game will be great for 6mo-1year. If you do enjoy PvP I think this game has a lot of years of entertainment in it for you. If you liked UO, and DAOC, I think you'll like this game, It goes one further then both of them. The greatest thing about this game was it takes an HOUR to learn, and possibly years to master. I jumped right in, and it was easy to pick up. Unlike its 300lbs Gorilla counterpart EQ2. Which is confusing for first time players.

Well I can say this is the easiest game to get started with. I tried EQ2 and Guild Wars, and their just horrible. To tough to get into it.

But with World of Warcraft its totally different. Its very easy to get into and the quests are great, and you even forget that your leveling when your doing them. PvE is Player vs Environment, meaning your fighting only monsters and whatever is around you. PvP is Player vs Player, which makes it great. Nothing better then fighting alliance and seeing huge fights.

100% True. Theres not much if ANY GRIND feel.

The fact that TRADESKILLS help you in battle, even make them fun. Even ones that you wouldn't think offer a PvP bonus, DO. Example With blacksmithing, there are BoP items, Bind on Posession Items, meaning soon as you craft them, you cannot trade them, These are OFTEn the most powerful weapons seen. Some of them DO drop, but are very rare. Its pretty awsome. Very fun. IF i could say this game was ONE thing, It would be Insanely FUN.

lol, i can see how you cant get into guild wars for hours and hours but its fun for a hour or two, as for learning it guild wars is so simple you just click where  u want to go then click ur enemy then click a skill to attack...Or use w,a,s,d to get around like every fps out there.

Guild Wars was awful....just awful.....after palying WoW stress test, everything seems awful to me.

It is ridiculous claiming that video games influence children. For instance, if Pac-Man affected kids born in the 80's, we should by now have a bunch of teenagers who run around darkened rooms and eat pills while listening to monotonous music!

PvP server lets players of the other faction attack you pretty much anywhere in the world. PvE servers still have PvP, but it will mostly be in the battlegrounds instead of anywhere on the map. So basicly if you are alliance, and you don't want a group of horde players coming to kill you while you are questing, then PvE server is for you.
