Most likely: SW:TOR WOW Oh and that Zenimax Online Game...ya you know....Zenimax = Bethesda Last on the list: Possibly DAOC whether it gets a ressurection or sequel
I'm with Garreet on DAOC. If they ever make a part II, I'll be standing in line waiting for the doors to open and 12:00:01.
No second thoughts on Zenimax either. If Bethesda is making an MMO, there is no doubt in my mind that they will make an MMOG like nothing we've ever seen. But something tells me Garrett "has" seen something... <eyes Garrett for not sharing>
I would have thought that SWTOR and STO will probably dual it out to be the next big mmo. I think story-driven SciFi mmo will be just the ticket for players bored to tears of fantasy mmo like WoW. Personally I think SWTOR will be the better game at launch, since I think it will have a better solo player game.
I'll play the first non-carebear MMORPG without instances to come out.. This means : Game with no rules, no gms (other than banning cheaters), open PvP, no instances.. Kind of like everquest
What game do you know that doesn't have "rules"? Yeah you look like you are trying too hard to jump on the "carebear" bandwagon.
but yeah, to call this game Fantastic is like calling Twilight the Godfather of vampire movies....
None hopefully. I was actually thinking of re-joining the human race and becoming productive in the real world again. BUT, just in case that plan doesn't pan out...
DAOC II if it ever comes to be, most definately FE, STILL CoX, and TSW if its even 1/4th as good as I hope it will be.

It's all hype right now, and really, nothing has been released by them in terms of what they've done so far with it since acquiring the liscence. But I do have realistic expectations that it will be something worth playing.
Taking a look at their Darksiders release scheduled for the turn of the New Year, and seeing the polish and plot modification of the Book of Revelation, there's no denying that this company has talent and isn't afraid to use it. I peg them for a solid studio who stays abreast of what's currently on the market, and makes games for gamers. I don't expect them to be worried about the financial margins, based on their statements regarding their parent company, THQ.
It's all speculation, but the story of 40k and the studio who has the liscence will likely be something to watch in the coming years.
That is exactly right, and we're not saying NO to save WoW, because it is already a lost cause. We are saying NO to dissuade the next group of greedy suits who decide to emulate Blizzard and Cryptic, etc. We can prevent some of the future games from spewing this crap, but the sooner we start saying no, the better the results will be. I am not "Oh, I gotta have that!" of any of the upcoming mmorgps, but I will keep my eyes open for "All points bulletin" and "the Secret World" to see how they turns out.
Probably still kicking around in WoW - maybe Secret World if Funcom launches it and doesn't screw it up.
I would always assume that Funcom will continue their long running trend and screw-up, if they can change their track record gamers will change that opinion of them. Yes, they released a teaser for their Secret World beta, but as far as anyone can work out from the outside a teaser was all it was for now. Factor into their staff cuts and we are possibly talking next year for beta and maybe early 2011 for actual launch. Factor into that the reality that by then everyone is going to be playing/trying new mmo games like SWTOR, then we may also be talking another failure from Funcom, unless they are going low budget and niche market for launch of Secret World, though that would be cool of them. We will see, but one thing for certain, WoW will still be around and kicking, with possibly the next generation mmo from Blizzard getting to beta in the next couple of years.
I am a huge fan of FFXI and has been the only mmorpg I have actually had some real FUN playing. I spent near 4 years on that game and probably was one of the best experiences Iv ever had gaming in general. Huge variety of things to do, lack of PvP, and great mature community made it the best mmorpg for me hands down. Never did I feel like I just had grinding levels as an option, thousands of quests, tons of storylines, missions and events to do. You never had the excuse to say its just a grind in FFXI.
I hope FFXIV is a lot like FFXI just adds a tinny bit more solo content to the game while keeping the group focused game play, and upgrades the graphics.
ill definately be playing 40k mmo vigil studios is an part of thq i like what thq have done with the 40k games they've done so far i think the game is in safe hands unlike war
I'm planning on getting a new rig this coming year and will probably stop by EQII again to see how it runs/looks on the new system. As of now I'm kind of just waiting to see what SOE is going to offer with Everquest Next.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
SW: TOR.
Earthrise (hopefully released and polished by then).
Warhammer 40K MMO (if it turns out the way I hope/expect it will).
I think I will be making a return to Asherons Call.
