I thought your review was pretty even-handed, taoofjester. I appreciate that you stayed away from exaggeration for the most part and just stated your likes / dislikes and ratings.
It's a shame that the game didn't appeal to you more, but everyone has their own tastes and opinions. I agree that it has potential, and that's why I will continue to support it.
I did want to ask you about your statements about crafting. For me, crafting management was pretty easy, but I tabbed everything out in my inventory so that I could see only crafting materials, if that's all I wanted to look at. Did you take advantage of the inventory tabs? You could sort your inventory in individual tabs by crafting mats, mission items, weapons, armor, etc., so you don't have to see everything at once.
Hope you check back on the game... I think we're going to continue to see improvements.

The problem I had sorting things is when it was in the bank, but not in my inventory. I found if it was in my inventory it did not really matter exactly where it was as I could craft no matter its location. I believe a quick, easy fix for this problem is to make a list of items in your bank when you access it and have it sortable either by name, material type (crafting, armor, weapon) or by use (for cooking, medicine). This would allow someone to just select the item and hit *add to inventory*.
I did not store a lot of things in my actual inventory due to my low strength. This meant I had a lot of transfering from bank to inventory when I wanted to craft and back again for when I wanted my inventory free so I can loot and harvest. My strength was exceptionally low (I think I only put one point into it) so it made it frustrating. But I also did not want to add a lot of points as I was not going melee and knew that I could never respec.
I will definitely check back with this game in six months or so to see where it is at. Oh, it would also be nice if they put a character planner on their website (perhaps they have one, I used a different website to do mine) as the lack of respecing makes it really important to get right the first time.
