How long 'till flight transport gets old?

While we're all waiting for FilePlanet to get their things together, something came to me.  When I played the stress test, I took the Griphon that took me from one place to another. It was amazing, you could see the scenery, you could rotate the camera, and for the duration of the flight I was awestruck.

But, I remember my first day in SWG.  "Woah, you have to wait for the next shuttle, that is so cool, makes sence when you think about it".  After a week of playing I was more like "what? another 8 minutes for the stupid shuttle, that's such a dumb idea.  Whoever thought about it is a looser".

You see where I'm going with this, eh?  How long before we're like "c'mon you stupid bird, what retard at blizzard thought of that?  I hate downtime!".

not to bash you cause i see where you are coming from but (and i haven't played WoW yet but i did play SWG) i hated the shuttle wait because you sat there doing nothing, nothing to look at but stupid people dueling to lag others out or doctors yelling about buffs. i think that yeah it will suck for the down time but you can keep up with your inventory and check out the view while you ride, it gives you a reason to make sure all your stats and whatnots are up to date.

i could change my mind once i play but i know that it will never be as bad as SWG, i think its a cool, while not great, but a cool idea.
