Meet Naga
Edit:
lol they even linked it on that page. Wtf would you need an analog stick on your mouse for anyway? Just buy a controller if that's what you want, ffs. Kinda defeats the purpose of being a PC Gamer instead of a Console Gamer.

I'd rather go for ergonomics myself, seems all the extra buttons woul be more stressful for prolonged use, and if you're not using them regularly chances are you won't rely on them when you can't afford to make a mistake.
Just to make things clear...
I speak for myself and no one else, unless i state otherwise mine is just an opinion. A fact is something that can be independently verified, you may challenge such but with proof. You have every right to disagree with me through sound argument, i believe in constructive debate, but baseless aggression will warrant an unkind response.
I am going to be grabbing one of those Naga later this week. I hope it is all I have ever dreamed of in a mouse.
That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming!
That is the ugliest mouse I have ever seen.
The Cyborg Mouse by Saitek blows the Naga out of the water. The Naga does have more buttons (well, less if you use the shift states... but most don't) but you cant operate them all easily. Those 12 on the side are crazy hard to use with your thumb if you want to keep your hand in the same place on the mouse. I tried one out at a store that had one as a display, and I just had to laugh. Now, don't get me wrong, it is still a nice mouse, but the Cyborg is much more practical.
I was actually going to mention the Razer Naga... you actually get used to the buttons placements pretty quickly, and the mouse is a lot smaller than you would think from looking at the pictures. Saitek makes some sick peripherals though. I'm pretty happy with a Razor mouse, Logitech keyboard, and Saitek flight stick setup. 8)

I changed over to the naga and I have to say that I love it. The buttons really aren't hard to use at all if you remember a few things.
1, keep at least 1 trainer on (that is a rubber sticker that can stick to the keys) so that you can always find center. I have mine on the 2 which is the center top row. resting my thumb on the 5 right below it I always can feel it against the top of my thumb and always know where center is. Now my thumb always finds its natural resting place on the 5. I'll add that if one were to really throw cautiion to the wind they probably could do without the trainer as well. Remember, String players (violins, viola, cello, Bass) dont' use frets at all can their hand can easily find notes with extreme accuracy. This is just a thumb moving in a small restricted area so I can easily imagine not needing the tactal reference.
Or to think of it another way, it's sort of like typing. Your fingers don't really have a solid tactal surface whree you can differentiat where you are on the keyes but yet many can type without looking at the keyboard.
2, use the buttons in an ergonomic fashion. I found that it was far easier and more comfortable to map skills that I used all the time to the very natural feeling buttons. The skills I rarely use or just use less often went to other keys. I've had very few problems. The only real problem are the two top buttons which are definitely in an awkward place. Luckily I can map one important but rarely used skill (in Aion - toggle wings)) to one of them and it then becomes a very easy transitional button.
But you do have to practice with it. took a day to get used to it and another to really warm up to it.

Did you change from a Cyborg Mouse though? That is the main thing. 12 buttons all in different places is not efficient, and even to people used to the mouse, I am going to bet that they hit the wrong thing every once and a while. The Cyborg Mouse has a Hat Switch. While the Hat Switch only has the 8 possibile buttons, they are amazingly easy to operate, and your thumb never needs to move from it's place. When you add in the wing button that can easily be hit with the knuckle of the thumb without moving the pad of your thumb away from the Hat Switch, and two more buttons above the Hat, which are large, and easy to hit correctly... I just feel that the Cyborg is easier overall, and MUCH faster for response times. Plus, it grows to your hand, litterally. :P
Oh my god, there is better stuff in wich to WASTE your money out there.

No just from a regular mouse. I can check the cyborg out though.
