How logical is this ?

Australia, New Zealand get simultaneous release with the US and Korea one........UK left out? Apparently they didn't look on the world map  again and see how far Australia was from them....or is it cauz Americans still have their own world map with US in the center of the world? (/sarcasm).

Anyway I find it completly illogical that Australia and New Zealand get this and not UK....

Because they're putting Aus/NZ people on the west coast servers, rather than the asian ones as has happened in the past, which since most Aussies don't speak Chinese/Japanese, etc. makes a bit o' sense

As for the precise distance between Australia and the U.K., and the west coast of the U.S., hell if I know. I imagine either it was financially motivated, or the Aussies pitched enough of a fit that they wanted on the U.S. west coast, that Blizzard listened.

ROFL, ok i got quite a kick out of that one... that was pretty good Mordith

But yeah, the UK has their own servers so blizzard is doing everything there seperate.. unfortuantely it just happens to be a little behind... the aussies are being put with the US because they don't have any other servers so i guess its just as easy to lump them in with the US. I'm also hoping they aren't put on Asia servers since that doesn't make sense to me either.

When I was reading the huge thread about localized servers on the WoW beta forums, several guys from Australia said that they get great connections to the US West Coast.  Apparantly there's a huge pipe running from Australia to there.  So they're being put on the NA servers because Blizzard actually listened to them, rather than all the other companies that packs the Australians onto Asian servers.
