Hi Everyone,First of all a HUGE thank to our loyal and very patient fan base for hanging in there with us over this long period during which we did not have a lot to report or show. Its great to be back and were excited to give you some fantastic never-before-seen screenshots of armor and weapons for the Goauld, Jaffa, Soldier, and Scientist.
We know you expect nothing less than the AAA content in Stargate Worlds our development team is working hard to give you along with some additional exciting news we will be revealing very soon! We want to thank everyone for their continued support and passion for Stargate Worlds and we cant wait to show you more of what weve been cooking up over here.Each of these armor sets will have unique traits that make them ideal for certain situations. As players become familiar with each world and the various environments they will encounter, they will discover which sets of armor best suit their play style.

First of all a HUGE thank you to the four FanOri for hanging in there with us over this one year media blackout. It’s great to be paid and we’re excited to give you some sub standard screenshots we pulled from an unpaid employees corrupt hard drive of armor and weapons for the Goa’uld, Jaffa, Soldier, and Scientist.
We know you expect nothing less than a launch by 2035 which our development team of one ex SOE coder and 3 MMOGULs artists are working hard to give you along with some additional exciting BS we will be revealing very soon! We want to thank MMOGULs for their continued support and passion for Stargate Worlds and we can’t wait to show you more of what we’ve been cooking up over here.

The History of the Order of The Golden Shields
These shots are not exactly new. The armor sets were made by outside vendors long, long ago.
The reason why you didn’t see them sooner? CME owed these vendors money. I'm guessing they paid off the vendors to be using them on their site finally. If not, expect the vendors to file some more lawsuits! If they manage to crap out battles, you'll see these used there first.
CME should be ashamed of themselves, making their fans believe development continues on SGW!
Poeple Cry when a game isn't polished and lacks content, people also cry when It takes to long to complete, IMO from a dev point of view, Screw them all, take your time and make the game right with loads of content, 20 gigs worth content & polish that will rival WoW after 5 years, make release count with loads of endgame and polish then folding into pressure from the Crybabies that can't wait for a finished product.
Thats what wrong with todays MMO, to much pressure from people to release, in the old days MMO keeped things under raps untill 2 mths or so untill release, now days people want to be breast fead every day for 3 years + on every move they make putting in there 2 sence that ruins a good MMO, IMO I wouldn't even let MMORPG or any other mmo site even know that Im even making a game untill 3 mths untill beta, that way people can't put pressure on the dev team and lets them focus on a good MMO.

This is old news. Some might say it is moldy. Until I actually read an update with a release date, this game stays classified as vapor-ware.
At least we know what they did with some of the money the SyFy (nasty name) network paid for that 15 second screen shot used in the latest version of the StarGate series of shows.
Hmm, not quite top notch textures on the soldier armor and weapon there.
More like something you would expect from a closeupshot from a RTS a few years back, or a MMO even more years back.
Low resolution, little to no detail, jagged lines, no shading... and less..more.
If I didn't know better, I would have guessed it to be a never released armor and weapon from release version of Anarchy Online.
Quite not up to snuff to what they used to show us before there was a beta of SGW even... (And the beta gfx.. well it was more similar to you being shown a lamborgini while waiting to get your "car", but once in to drive said "car" you got a Yugo instead).
I really hope this game doesn't come out now, it would tarnist Stargate for me.

This game was doomed from the start. Beta sucks.
And all your little rant accomplished was to show you have no clue at all about SGW and it's developers. I suggest you read up. Start with the multiple lawsuits, then go to the pyramid scheme, then go to the unpaid staff. After that, come back and give your INFORMED opinion.
My guess....... is that the exciting announcement comming soon is about the SG FPS title lol.

What, I love Stragate Universe. It's more science fiction than any of the previous incarnations of the franchise which I like.

Thus the term "Space Opera", used to describe lots of science fiction literature.

If only it was as good as soap opera.
At least with (good) soap opera, you have interesting characters, and interesting situations. Here you just have two mildly interesting characters (Rush and Eli), and the rest are completely forgettable. And frankly, the whole story so far is rather boring.
I see they've already pulled out time travel for an episode or two. They must be desperate for storylines already.
And correct me if I'm wrong, but in previous canon, it took timing a solar flare down to a few seconds. How long is this one lasting? A whole day or so?
