Best FPS MMO????

looking for a first person shooter MMO on PC preferably free to download

any ideas would be awesome

    Well, I haven't much been into the mmofps scene however, I did spot this one a few days ago and to say the least it looks pretty.

    I have no idea if it's good or not but it looks like it might be of a bit higher quality than others I have seen, try it and post back what you think of it.

    have to say this would be my first experience on a mmofps also but im quite into xbox360 ones so thought id try :)

    any other non fps games that you reccomend?

    Ah well, I had a lot of fun with a game called War Rock.

    It provided me with a good deal of fun for a few weeks time. Aside from that, I don't know any other good ones, I mean there are others but some are just... Well... Bad... Haha, so give one of these two a try and I bet you'll have some fun! :)

     Planetside is still the only one to do massive battles and is still playable.

    Theyre actually upgrading the game.  Not sure how far out the release for this is, but it should be pretty good

    Planetside right now is still the best MMORPG/FPS on the market.   I think though once Dust 514 comes along that will change.   Though Dust 514 is for console games, it looks wickedly cool - it is like Modern Warfare meets BF2142, meets Planetside.

    Correction there making a sequel, so its gonna be a totally new game. But on topic the only MMofps games i really enjoy are combat arms, AVA and exteel.

    MAG for PS3 might be fun early on next year, up to 256 players per battle.

    Plantside is the one, and only MMOFPS. There is nothing that compares.

    I'm partial to Combat Arms and Wolf Team. If you like CS, try out Crossfire.

    Not MMO's, CS with a cash shop and limmited player amounts. You are better off playing counterstrike, its more polished.
