I got to thinking about my Asheron's Call days and remember hearing about the TARDIS from Dr. Who appearing randomly around Dereth. You would hear the sound effect of it and it would appear, last a few seconds and vanish. I never saw it personally although I did see a screenshot at some point. I was wandering how many old schoolers actually witnessed it ingame, or if it was still popping around Dereth as we speak.

It was removed from the game, more then likely due to trademark issues (should of just called it a phone booth). So no you can't see it anymore.
The way it worked when it was in was that you could see it from a distance but it would always disappear when you got too close.
I remember this! There are so many neat little things in Asherons Call...
I do remember this back in the day. This was just a great game and great TV show.
