exploring in eq2

in Everquest II
in everquest live i loved to join up with groups and go explore as much as i could. i love to go look at the landscapes and creatures. the map of eq2 doesnt look that big and im begining to think that the exploring wont be as beautiful and exciting as the original everquest. if anyone has any answers please tell me, thanks

    I agree that the map doesnt look that big, but believe me its pretty huge. There is alot of variation between areas and tons to discover. This has always been one of my favorite things about mmorpgs.

    However, althought the world is huge, it doesnt really feel as big as there are alot more ways to get around such as griffons which act like taxis.

    The zones are freaking big.  Also, after a billion expansions it will be rediculous just like eql's world.

    yeah, exploring is fun to do. i like the idea they have with the fog of war type map.
