So who just started today on beta 3 of EQ2 ? How many Qeynos based?

I wish I were, my g/f and I have a couple of pre-orders of the CE's and would like to give it a go once before the launch - but alas, my 4 years with EQ Live and my 5 months of beta testing EQ Live wasn't enough to get me a spot in EQ2's.

Dont feel bad, I played EQ1 for 3 years, and didnt get anything either =(. Its just our luck I guess.....

 YES THIS SUCKS!! i played EQ 1 month after EQ went live and i still didn't even get beta. sony peeps don't look out for there customers

Maybe I've neive, but...

I think that sony would prefer you keep playing(and paying $$$) eql instead of testing eq2 for free.

I can't really blame them.

I've got all 4 chars. on Beta3.
lvl 12 Half-elf Druid "Blackdragonjaj" (in Qeynos right now)
lvl 4 dark elf in Isle of refuge
lvl 10 Ratonga Scout "Lemiwinks" in Freeport

I love the game so far. I played EQ1 for mac and I thought it sucked..was totally boring. EQ2 is fun, fast combat, great quest system...lots of stuff to do and see. The grfx are the BEST,period. I have a good rig, so I can turn most of the eye candy up..do urself a favor and upgrade,it's an awsome looking game that relly draws you in. I'm not a mmorpg person, but I'm totally hooked on this one.

I have a pre-order disc from Best Buy, so I'll be there Monday morning to pick it up.

Yes i'm willing to go for EQ2 over WoW because i have WoW beta and i hated the graphics charater creation and most of all there looting system.

I *think* I can use FRAPS,right? I've taken a lot of screenshots,but haven't done vid clips yet.

yes you can use fraps to create videos, unfortunately they will charge you money for the ability to do this, the basic fraps is free but as far as i know only the upgraded version (which they charge for) will make the videos.
