Problems with the MMORPG.com Battleswarm Alienware Laptop Sweepstakes! contest

I noticed yesterday that my points for the MMORPG.com Battleswarm Alienware Laptop Sweepstakes! is gone. I should at least have around 4 points by now.

I waited until today to see if there was just a temporary glitch, but no, still zero points.

Is there any general problem with this?

Hope to get them back so I can have a chance in that contest.

    Two days ago I emailed MMORPG.com about what I thought was an error in this contest. I then received an email that said what I thought was an error was intended but that they then found an error with the extra entries that were earned. The message stated the frequency of extra entries earned was in error and was fixed because of my message to them.

    The original text stated one extra entry was earned for each one day an entrant logged in up to a maximum of 5 log-ins.  It was intended to state that one extra entry was earned every 5 days an entrant logged in up to a maximum of 5 bonus entries. In the message they informed me they were correcting their error.

    Since it is a violation to the Rules of Conduct to post private messages I am withholding posting the message. I am willing to post the body of this email if Admin gives his permission.

     

    You all can start heating up the tar and feathers for me first, since my actions resulted in MMORPG.com correcting an error in this contest.

    Most of you sound like you feel cheated out of something. How can you be cheated out of something if you haven't actually won anything yet? Better still, why do you feel entitled to rewards that you may or may not (probably not) win? MMORPG made a mistake, they meant it to be 1 ticket per 5 days logged in, not 1 per 1 day. Did you expect an easy contest for such a big prize??? Sheesh...

    In the end as long as you log-in daily you will still end up maximising the number of entries you earn well before the end of the contest.

    And now it would seem inappropriate if I were to end up winning the main prize of this contest. If that happens I will not confirm my winning entry and will thus allow MMORPG.com and Battleswarm to make a second drawing for the main prize. If I happen to win one of the secondary prizes though I will confirm that awarding.

    Sorry for the misunderstanding guys.  The contest had a display bug which was fixed.   As the rules have always stated you only get one bonus ticket per 5 days you login to a max of 5 tickets.  If you have logged in 4 days that is 0 tickets so far.  5 logins = 1 ticket, 10 = 2, 25 = 5, etc.

    There are 30 days for the contest to run and if you login 25 you get the max...so you can even miss a few days in there and still get max bonus tickets.
