Here's an interview with Jeff Strain about his new company Undead Labs and their upcoming console only zombie MMO.
Not much said there, but he talks the talk, now let's just see how well they can code the code. WoW turned out OK, Guild Wars did good too, so there's some reason to be optimistic.

Sorry to hear its console only. One more reason to hate them.
consoles lol
Dude. Zombies.
Cool.
Playing: EVE, Final Fantasy 13, Uncharted 2, Need for Speed: Shift
Man, this pisses me off! And i used to like this guy...
"Strain went on to point at the first-person and Halo as a perfect example of a genre that people thought could only be done really well on PC until someone actually took the time to make it for consoles."
Yeah, and that's why FPS's have been goin' down the crapper, lately, IMO. As much as i respect the man, i can only hope it's another failed attempt to pry MMO's from the PC's grasp.
Some games are more fun on the console (driving games, sports games, fighting games, snowboarding/skateboarding games etc.) Only bad thing is to pay for the gold membership (for the X360) as well as a possible subsciption fee ("possible" because Strain wasn't that fond of those).
I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been -Wayne Gretzky
Actually, it is "almost certainly" going to be subscription based, its in his Q&A on Undead Labs site, which i am almost certain is not a joke Pretty ironic though...
I would hate to see more MMOs on consoles, i really hate them with a passion and don't think i will buy one in the near future. I hope he does not start a trend of MMOs migrating to consoles as well, if that happens PC gaming should just grab a gun and shoot itself to end the suffering.
