Hello, you must be the mortal online fanboy, please take a sit over there with Knights of the old republic online fanboys. We'll deal with you shortly after the aion fanboys leave the centre stage. Thank you for your patience.
LOL well funny.
What makes this game 2nd gen pls?
And please tell there is a 3rd person view, otherwise for me it is fail already...........And for many others too.
As a long time UO player (still have all 3 accounts lol) I am looking forward to MO to actually be good enough to make me want to switch. LoTRO did for a while but it was to easy (1 - 60 in a few weeks). I am hoping that MO will be a bit of a challenge. And the PvP! I can't wait to try the PvP! But I will likely wait 3-6 months after launch to let them get things worked out and to see if the game will be around that long. Until then I will be in Fallen Earth.

i like how people call this a next gen MMO but the combat system is from like the 1980s it's brutally SLOW
ADD kiddie instant killing combat has nothing to do with the generation of the game, only unless you mean this generation of gamers that have to have instant gratification and cry if things are a little tough.

Nice foaming at the mouth, knee jerk response attempt to insult someones opinion fanboi.

No 3rd person view and no plans on it. But you can see your character in mirrors/
Even in the games where you can /stick to your target and auto-attack, it's still not automatic combat.
If YOU as the player don't activate specific skills and abilities, you will be defeated by even the weakest opponents.
It's a bit off-topic, but when games feature claims such as "You do every action! There is no automatic combat!" it's just candy-coating. There's rarely a video game where YOUR actions and clicks don't matter towards your victory in combat.
And no, in reality there actually isn't much of a difference between Left-Clicking to swing a sword and Left-Clicking to activate "Swing Sword!" Ability which makes your character swing sword on next queue.
It's simply a matter of perception, and perhaps action speed. In fact, a game like WoW can be more action-packed and Skill-based (where YOUR decisions and Timing matter) than a game like Darkfall (Which has a single mouse click and perhaps a SHIFT block.)
Last time I checked, it takes more talent, focus, and timing to use 50 abilities AND chase your opponent than it ever has to use ONE ability (left click) while chasing your opponent.

Just to be realistic and technical...
There is no modern MMO that has automatic combat.
Even in the games where you can /stick to your target and auto-attack, it's still not automatic combat.

Seems ironic... given the context...
