It's the same for me, combat felt no different on my Champ.
Same here (on a Champ), if I hadn't read the dev diaries I doubt I would have noticed that the combat system had changed at all, it feels exactly the same as it did a week ago to me. I'm not a terribly experienced player, though (highest character is only level 36).
On my hunter I noticed a pretty big difference. I can drop stuff a lot faster now after the upgrade, mostly due to the faster response times on skills. No longer do I have to wait for auto attack to finish between firing off skills.
My champ really doesn't feel all that much different, though.
Edit: On an unrelated note, the patch fixed one major issue for me. When running on DX10 the game would occasionally make me BSOD . (Reported it to Turbine, but they didn't even seem to know this weird issue existed) So, I had to run in DX9... Anyway, the new patch seems to have fixed that issue altogether. (Yay Turbine!) So if anyone else here had that issue give DX10 another go.
