THATS RIGHT! It's obvious to me that Blizzard and the movie director/writer James Cameron have been in bed for some time now! See what I mean!

Sounds to me like they are just working together for the 3D technology. Yeah it's interesting that Blizzard and Cameron are working together, I don't think that proves what the new Blizzard MMO will be. If it is, I'll be more than happy to come back here and say you were right!
It can't be an avatar MMO as blizzard has said its a totally new IP...
I know, it seems everyone has ignored this whenever talking about the new MMO.
Unless Blizzard said this to try and throw everyone off (Not a bad idea), I think its a fact.

Me too, but as I watched Terminator Salvation (I know, not Cameron) I think one set in that era would be interesting.

Yea i can just picture it my Alien Toon is hunting a Predator there he is i target him and start pressing F1 F2 F3 and of course F7 to a certain timed sequence. Making sure i keep my HP up with potions while my Teammates Keep the buffs going, After 30 times killing him we see ower desired prize A purple set of jaws

Something tells me that Ubisoft bought all the gaming rights to the title. You don't leave opportunities on the table in today's contracting world.
That is exactly right, and we're not saying NO to save WoW, because it is already a lost cause. We are saying NO to dissuade the next group of greedy suits who decide to emulate Blizzard and Cryptic, etc.
We can prevent some of the future games from spewing this crap, but the sooner we start saying no, the better the results will be.

According to my understanding it's going be starcraft,warcraft,diablo,new IP after this game is released.
World of Warcraft is a proof that MMORPG quality should affect schedule/budget and not the other way around.
FYI there IS a new AvP coming out sometime next year... looks pretty nice.

Everyone loves a good rumor , heck I don't mind starting one form time to time but I do not think that the Avatar is Blizzards Next IP.

It wont be Avatar, UBIsoft have that kitty well & truly in the bag.
It's more likely James Cameron/Blizzard are in bed together for the 3d-technology used in Avatar being brought to a game, or a possible unannounced futire film Cameron plans to make that will be released alongside an MMO and he is onboard with Blizzard for a future joint project, a dual-release movie & MMO hasn't been attempted yet because of the length of time it takes to develop an MMO, but however if there was a true collaboration & the MMO went into production a long time before the movie & the movie release was timed to coincide with the MMO release that would make for a very interesting collaboration indeed.
don´t excpect any real news from blizzards new MMO yet... i have played the avatar demo, and i´m 100% sure blizzards new MMO won´t be anything like that...
Well everyone wants in on video game money and having just finished the Avatar video game, which was truely awsome, I can see how cameron would want to embark on more projects like it. I definately think Blizz has to go sci-fi/space with their next MMO, but Aliens wouldnt have enough depth... hunting the same alien creature over and over again would be boring. And Terminator is so over played, and the time travel would be problematic to implement.
But who knows...
