Just item dmg on death from what I have seen Mendig is still cheap at the lower levels(below 15). I will assume it will be cheap in a relative sense to at higher levels also.

    I miss DAoC

every time you die your items loose 10% durability, this will not affect the stats/dmage of the item, and also the item wont 'poof' when it is at 0% you just can not use it untill you repair it.

so you have 10 deaths if it started at 100%? and.. is repairing it from 0% the same as from 90%? is it better to wait or do you get a better deal going asap?

I never tested that so i have no clue.

Last night when I repaired my gear, it seemed to make it good as new. I didnt see anything indicating it was still somewhat damaged. ::::28::

As far as I can tell, it takes it back to 100%...  I think DAoC you were never able to go back to 100%, but I believe here you can.

Mending repairs the item to full stats. (did it last night) And they only decay upon death...kind of makes you try not to die as much image

Currently it costs you 1cp (copper coin) to repair items wether they are at 10% or 50%, and it always goes back to 100%.

I'm pretty sure the amount depends on the quality of the item and the amount of damage, cause I've payed a bit more on my better gear.

Yeah, items will always be able to be repaired to full condition.  Instead of having items wear out they made the really nice ones attuned.
