This game is the biggest money pit ever. Almost everything, from pvp to instances, will cost you real cash. Yes, some will attempt to lead you to believe you can save up money and buy gold from the auction house but that is a farce. The mobs from 20-90 have almost no difference in coin droppage. Yes, there are other items that drop but usually it is barely enough for potions and repair. If you plan to play this game have your wallet open and be ready to have it raided.

There have been people spending on up to 35,000US(yes 35k) this year alone. I personally know a guy that finally saw the light after spending 250 a week to pvp. Read the topic title over and over.

    totally agree.  unless you are someone who only cares about PVE stay far far away from this horrible excuse for a F2P game.  because this game is 100% gear driven it is not the game for anyone who wants to play free or even to spend $50-100 per month.  at the current prices it costs $51095 to fully upgrade a set of equipment.  most of the best equipment available in game can only be attained through cash shop gambling packs.  (pay $1 get a .001% chance at an OP item)  i know of at least 30 people just on the server i played on that have spent well over $20000 in a year for this game.

    the other horrible part of this game is that leveling can also be bought through the cash shop.  pay $1000 level from 1-90 in a few days instead of an average of 4-6 months.

     

    edit...i screwed up my calculations for equipment upgrading its only $30115.80 thats so damn cheap i think i should go log back in and pull out my credit card.

    well i play PWI and i admit i payed prolly 80 dollar for the last 14 months of play.. i still like it and you dont have to pay that much and i seen cheeper ways by grinding and what not... i say give it a try anyways i mean it is free to download and play... just pay money if you like it... if not delete the game and go on with your life...

    now this game was a complete waste of bandwidth! the only "ok" thing about this game is customising your character & maybe the flying elves...
