26 MMOs releasing in the next 23 days?

There are still 26 MMOs listed as "2009" release with only 23 days before the end of the year... Have they not released delay announcements, or has MMORPG not updated their statuses?

 Most of them have an "it's understood that it's not releasing this year" thing going on. In fact, due to that policy, it's likely that most won't get a 2010 update here until well into January or February. 

MMORPG.com has people that are supposed to be reporting these things, yes, but not all games have people that are working as medians between the team and MMORPG.com.

It just takes MMORPG.com a while to properly update projected release dates. I made a joke thread about "all the games coming out in December" a couple of weeks ago, heh.

That makes for a funny statistic.  How many of those 26 MMOs launch on time?   "One in 26 MMOs launch the year they're projected."  I wonder if MMO publishers set the date without having any idea when their game will be finished so they can tell their investors that they'll see a return sooner than they really will.

The updates are coming pretty slow,really.

It's not like most of them are realistic anyway.
