Bye WoW...

 Well people, take a look:

                     US Dollar - Brazillian Reais

 Retail Game: $49,99 = R$141,00

 Monthly fee: $14,99 = R$43,00

And I got a brother, so, 2 retail games = R$282,00 (too damn freaking cheese expensive)

 And plus R$86,00 per month....

Well, I really loved this freaking game, but... No way...

Have fun people, maybe someday Brazil start to be a real country instead of a mess... So R$ value increase and maybe in 2056 I start playingimage

Just be glad you don't live in North Korea. I think it's illegal for them to own a computer that can access the outside world. Either that, or move to US. We're lazy.

Just think when you get to be 20 as I am and have car insurance on three vehicles, gas, taking the cute girl in your english out on a date, paying for WoW, cable service, and a generous supply of twinkies and Mt. Dew. And no, I'm not currently employed. Thank Jeebus for credit cards.

I'm 16, so, let me guess:

ME: "Father, give me R$141,00??? And then give me R$43,00 per month?"

MY FATHER: "Call the doctor... He is not ok"

Well, too damn expensive, they could think on other countries players, and make a discount or something like that....

I mean god how have you been buying computer games anyways? im assuming there similarily priced?. Or is this one of those "im a poor free-game tester, cant affford WoW bye!" threads?

Seriously you mustve paid for other comp games before? Its just the monthly fee that sux. I know its hard convincing parents to buy it, so go and get a job to pay for the monrthly fee your 16 and job-worthy :).

Yea, I'm an auto entusiast. The GM Sierra with a 383 Stroker that can perform wheelies and make a 11.2 second quarter mile. The Jeep Wrangler on 38" inch tires that can climb over and through anything I want it to. And finally the Camaro. It's not road worthy yet as it's waiting for a balanced and blueprinted engine and some axle work.

But back on subject. My first job was a bagger at a grocery store making minimum wage. It got me into gaming more than ever where I was finally able to start buying my own games. I mean, jobs are out there; you just have to be willing. However, I understand that Brazil is a tough country and that President Luiz In

*snicker* He said Mt. Dew. We don't really have that (or at least I've never seen it) in the UK, so every time I hear Mountain Dew, I keep thinking back to that awesome roleplay video.

"Can I have a Mountain Dew?!", "Yeah, just go get it! Duh!", "Am I there?", "Are you where?", "The place where he's casting all those spells at.", "No, you're at the bar getting drunk!", "Are there any girls there?"

I showed that vid to my roleplay friends when we had this LAN thing one weekend, all of us dragged our computers around to a friends house so we could kill each other... violently. Ever since, that video has become like our bible. That is us. Every person in that video was like one of us. Scary!

But now for more smilies!! image image image image image

Life without Mt. Dew. Man, that's hard to picture. As all my college friends pound away beers and kill brain cells, I play the computer....and kill brain cells. But at least i can remember what I did the night before.

Uhh those numbers are the brazilian equivalent. In other words it costs us the same amount as it costs you. So stop complaining about the NUMBERS and just realize that your just too dang dirt poor to play WoW... because thats the issue here. I'm sorry that your country's economy stinks and that your dirt poor... but you know- what can ya do?

Frankly, it would have been dumb to expect anything less than $13-15 a month.

They wouldnt make any money if they charged less, 15 bucks a month isnt that bad, considering how many people they have working for them just to make this game run properly!

Actually 15.00 a month is pretty much the standard fee these days.

That only breaks down to .50 cents a day. Thats pretty cheap entertainment if you ask me. You can play your favorite game for hours a day for the cost of a can of soda pop. I know I was spending a lot more on single player games per month so this is much better in the long run

I say get a job and spend the money. Still cheaper than going to the theatre and renting dvds for the month.

Well, seems u dont know nothing about money...  1 dollar = almost 3 reais (do not cost the same), so its the tripple of the price... Some years ago, 1 dollar = 1,5 reais, so it was too damn cheap to buy games and so (I've bought almost all my games these times)...

So, rich child, we are discussing among people that know at least a little about money....

  • TrianonTrianon Member Posts: 112

Hopefully $15 a month will keep out many of the children who screwed up Diablo......

Personally I think it's a great game, I haven't had a client crash once since the Stress Test started, and as for lag.... what lag.

Graphics are awesome, gameplay, awesome, community..... I think I'll hold on that, but so far it's been pretty reasonable.

    $15.... a Bargain.

  • SoulrenderSoulrender Member Posts: 27
If you go for the 6 month thing, then it costs 13 dollars each month i think, so atleast that makes it abit cheaper :P, but im deffinently gonna p2p!!!YEHAA HERE I COME WoW
