Settling game that does it better than Wurm?

Since being utterly bored with most mainstream MMOs, i've been playing Wurm online quite a  lot. Its  a brilliant, utterly genious game, and is the FURTHEST thing away from all mainstream games. Dig caves, terraform the land, build your house (plan, make planks, build it wall by wall, your design) grow trees, chop down trees (once you've cut it down, its gone). The possibilities for this game are simply brilliant.

 

So i was wondering if any other games come close to this, in terms of settling/crafting that also have a decent combat system?

LOVE? Its still in apha though, but you can 5 bucks a month to play.

 I'd say LOVE for sure. 

The only other alternative is Haven and Hearth but it pales in front of LOVE in the customizibility department.

I think when they charge you a monthly fee, it's not quite Alpha (even if they call it that).

 

Love is a really cool looking game and unlike anything I've ever seen. I was just turned off by the fact that you need to work closely with others, but everyone seems to have different ideas and will undo each others work. What's more, they'll piss and moan that you're not playing the game "right".

 

If you can get past that (and maybe some day I will), then LOVE is pretty effin' fantastic.

LOVE is a piece of shit in its current state. I played it and it consists of: Logging in, getting shot at, dying, rinse and repeat times infinity.

I've just had a quick look for 'LOVE' and i've realised how hard it is to find Does someone have the site? They really should rename it, if anyone were to be searching for it they'd find nothing but actual love and lady gaga songs 'love game' :<
