Will there be an "official" guild from MMORPG.com?

    Yes, I would be very interested in joining a forum guild due to the fact that I have long since lost contact with any EQL guild.

    Not a bad idea, dunno tho, had to pull off, some people will want a Freeport guild others a Qeynos guild.

    On a side note, and shameless plug, there are MANY MMORPG.com members in Desolation. We're a Freeport based guild. We're not a new guild by far, I've been running Deso for 3+ years now, and quite a few of our Officers and Members have been with me all that time. Anyone interested in joining is more than welcome to check us out. Drop by the forums and chat some. See if you like it.

    Yup, Freeport is evil. Yer good.

    There's currently no application process, just go to the site, register ont he forums, hang out and chat with people. We activated our 100 person Ventrilo server today, so once you register you can get the info on how to join that and then hangout in the Ventrilo server and voice chat.

    i am a member of a guild already in eq2, but if you guys get serious and someone takes the reigns then i might join in. 

    Is it gonna be qeynos or a freeport guild? 

    If its qeynos, then im not interested.  I personally barf when i see qeynos.

    I would wait to register on forums when i get my character name,, and lol i already use ventrillo so that is nice :) i love guilds that use voice chat

    Styles,

    Someone already has "taken the reins"... Kunou, years ago, and we like him enough to let him stay. He doesn't eat much, and is housebroken, so pretty easy to deal with. ::::29::

    as for "getting serious"... we are very serious about having a good time, but if by "getting serious" you mean going hardcore and being more worried about beiung hardcore than having fun, then we probably never will be the place for you.

    Just register whenever you're ready to Kboy, no hurries, not everyone uses their ingame character name as their forum name tho, so no worries there.

    I played the beta some and can't wait for live but I'm also interested in joining a guild myself, on the Qeynos side. In reality I'd be looking for a more relaxed and less hardcore crowd of players. I can't and won't keep up with a large, power gaming guild that expects me to log in every day or even every week. So if anybody is part of a laid back guild that would like another laid back member, send me a message, please!

    I just meant by serious that if there was a mmorpg.com guild then i would look into it.  im acutally a casual player as well.  I might consider getting more info on the guild that kunou is the leader of.  I have read many of his posts since i joined and am familiar to his dedication!
