Looks like a video of Morrowind quality graphics from 10 years ago. Is the game totally empty or something, it seems like theres nobody around in almost every video. The first kill he ganks a naked player who appears to be harvesting... awesome skills there !

Ugh, obvious troll but here goes anyway.
WoW looks horrible yet 11 million (well, like, 4 million now) play it.
As for the game looking empty, I'm guessing you've never played a real MMO then, with an actual handcrafted world instead of small funneled instances?
1. noting or pertaining to a long poetic composition, usually centered upon a hero, in which a series of great achievements or events is narrated in elevated style: Homer's Iliad is an epic poem.
2. resembling or suggesting such poetry: an epic novel on the founding of the country.
3. heroic; majestic; impressively great: the epic events of the war.
4. of unusually great size or extent: a crime wave of epic proportions.

The fact that there aren't 100 people standing on top of each other in one small space in a city just seems alot more realistic to me.
The world is ridiculously huge, and thus people are spread out. I thought there was plenty of people running about in this video.

Thing is wow looks far from horrible. Graphics come in a variety of types. WoW goes for the cartoon side of the spectrum. Darkfall doesn't have that bad of graphics. You can't compare them to Morrowind......they aren't that bad.
Darkfall is the shiznit, thanks for posting the video love the classical metallica tune lol its like what metallica would have played if they were born in the 1600's
The game does feel empty, even with the changes. More things happening (not only more people around) would certainly be a good thing.
Strix, you're in Elf lands, right? No offense, but not much is happening in Elf lands (politically), so I wouldn't expect many people. It's definitely quiet in comparison to other regions of the map. Niflheim, parts of Yssam, and most of the east/north side of Agon. But even when you are in those areas, you need to know where the action can be found. The world IS big, and definitely could do with more players, but the fights come aplenty when you know how to find them.
That goes for things besides action, as well. A few player cities are almost completely deserted, most are moderately active, and a few are basically metropolis's. Calfardar, Ul'Hammra, Talpec, Apautan, Gulghat, Alberworth, Andruk, Skogul, Angfrost, Mamengruk, Dayar, Mar Shral, Mohera, Blood Scar, Sweet Water, and Marithain are all very populated, from my experience. Ul'Sulak, Ghanalaj, and Long March are examples of moderately active cities. Kyzerok, Chuharacua Bay, Darkmoore, and Ymennek are all very low population.
Actually, haven't visited Nif in a while so Kyzerok might have changed... Darkmoore I also haven't been to in a while. I know for sure that since Section 8 moved to Ul'Sulak that Ymennek has been deserted.
Anyways, once you have a working knowledge of where people are, the world becomes much smaller.

Lovein it. It's alot better now that I found an easy mob spawn that's pretty much all mine. Easy mobs, good drops, totally secluded.
I can't wait till next week when school's done and I can just go golfing all day and veg out on Darkfall all night. lol
