Yup.  The global WW cooldown was very much needed.

Because it is :P Especially the first one "Global Cooldown on all Whirlwind skills"

I like the fact that AV does listen to the community and will respond fairly quickly  through patchs while also not going against their plans for DarkFall either.

Good exemple was monster AI upgrade which no one expected. AV really wanted challenging PvE and they gave it to us but there was an issue with PvE and AV recognize this and fixed it accordingly without dumbing down the monsters too much within the first few days after the expansion.

A "normal" company would've taken 1-2 months to release a patch and it would've fixed some issues but not many the community asked.

I really look forward to the next expansion already :þ

Av kicks ass in terms of fixes and patches....Ive been around the mmo world for awhile and these guys put even AAA companies to shame on things like this

They definitely read their forums even if they are not vocal on them.

I wonder what the next expansion will be?

Underground citys, graphic overhaul, new continent, dev controlled mobs??

Hm....Dev controlled NPCs "à la" A Tale In The Desert. Would be awesome.....

Underground cities too, though there is already one that is owned by Undead Army I believe on NA-1 but certainly would love to see more of them :P

With graphics i think Av is constantly working on them.  I have noticed things like rocks ground textures and stuff looking 10 betters over time.

The coolest thing i think they could do would be a view distance change.   Not seeing characters mile a way but being able to see the terrain for a long distance would be badass.  Like FE,  lotro,   MO,  aoc.  Oddly though War and Aion seem to have similar view distance to Darkfall.

Also better written quests and more NPCs in those cities would be nice.  Make the world more a live in that manner.

I would think a graphics overhaul could do nothing but help the game grow. Nothing drastic that would kill performance, but maybe some better animations/spell effects and small tweaks to the character models.

I think the world is perfect, it looks amazing with shadows turned on.

Good to see their listening to their fans! I may very well pick up DF sometime in the new year once they've gave animations / spells an upgrade.

Always nice to see a MMO company making their game better through their fans likes and dislikes. :-)
