Severs:

There are / was to many severs. and i was hoping for a orgin, of difrent resions.

Adventur:

The andventuring of daoc´s area has in away allway been nice, though there is a lake off doungens. For both low and high lvls. And the drops are fare to uninteresting and waek, comperet to crated armor and weapons. And now there are nothing to adventure for, now that the DS armor and weapons are given away, if any drops are woth to hunt for its artis and even this one can now buy.

Mobs have less AI, they should work together more in races and factions, that will give a better feeling of difrence and upen up for more team play.

Beside that, it would have been nice to see alot more difrent design og armor and weapons.

Races:

They are kind of okay, but they should have had there own special born abilites. And the new pach did only make most of them alot more ugly to look at.

If anything is needed then its alot more fantasi about the races, and maby a new realm.

Classes:

Lats say i like the idea of having classis in the game, them they should have been class area related. Like the wizzard ( a mage class ), but the class need to be a sandbox, were the player had there x skill points pr lvl, and haved all the lines to pick from: fire, air, earth and wather. ( And there will need to be alot more fantasifull skills more like 2000 - 3000 difrent skills pr class ( sandbox ).

But im more to the idea were the player starts as a race, and can pick from difrent starting areas in the race related zone.

That race, should not be a spec class, but able to create there own class, and have the abilite to ware anything and use anything.

eks. a player using spells, should have heigh benefit when waring cloth, becuse of the casting speed and ability for caster related suckets. And if useing plate heigh penelty, for the lack of casting and the missing suckets that are casting related. etc.

But stil the player should be able to ware plate, shield and use spells/ magic.

and all "skills" used rais then using, and maby unluck spc combat skills, magical abilitys.

Beside that, races should not be able to rais there str, end, int etc. as normal. and playing a female or male should have there difrent in eks.str, same goes for a elver and a troll in int. but alot more difrent then there is today. its a joke to se a human female using a 2h hammer, and a troll using the same weapon, but becuse that the female are a few lvls heigher then the troll she kick the trolls ass.

Ground mounts and flighing mounts:

Thats skill is a realy nice skill, but should have been a "tameing skill" that allso rais in use, and then upen for the abilite to tame higher and difrent mobs.

Other transportaions:

Things like teleports and gate should be alot more limit becuse the remove the adventure part, that make a player feel that they are in a big wold. I guess that a teleport skill and gate skill will be better off that this cut combien the players and give players other the crafting to live on.

Harevesting and recus:

Remove the abilite to buy the stoff that is need for crafting, and make the players harvesting it. all mobs should be haresting able and all stones and flowers should ba able to harest farm etc.

Combat:

Remove face, stick and follow skills. This will make the game more skill based. Remove cooldowns on skills, and combos. ( the rais the cost of use ) That sends me to the use of spells, dont make the haeling, become healing power, so that a healer skill player, can be killd. And skills like nukes should have a heigh penelty, and a heigh cost use, but allso need to powerfull when used. that will give the caster class the feeling of been powerfull and still like a waek caster. Dont make things like concentration buffs, mezz, stune, blind. (both single and area), and if so make this skills alot harder to use, and defrently dont make a bind skill instent.

Stealh:

Remove stealth compltly, if anything like that then use a skill like sneak, that dont make nouise, that help in pvp/ rvr and on mobs.

Beside that make 3 persons view, alot closer to the player so that they have to turn around to be able to see whats behind then. and no pan camera. This will make team play alot more tactical and make the player more skilled.

Npc drops:

The ideaer of killing a frog and it drops, a brestplate, make me cry. All they should is, been harvesting able for " crafting stuff or for stuff tm sell in shops".

The " what you see is what you get " is needed in a mmorpg, like: A npc worrier in plate, shield and 1h. They should drop that, and then stuff of direnft things form there persional inventery.

Housesing:

If there is a shop that make it able for players to buy directly then what is the idea of haveing a house ?

Its houseing or a AH system.

Shops:

They should only have zone related lvl standart armor and stuff, but beside that all that players sell to that spec shop npc, should allso be there for bying after.

Random stuff:

Like when a player inter a house on ther adventure they should be able interact/to look in like a chest that are in the house for stuff. Drops from mobs/ npcer, doungens, etc. should all be random, that goes for the hole zone, so that players dont " farm " special areas.

Buffs:

As i said before dont make skills like buffs - on consertration, becuse that creates Buff Boots. and makes the game alot more non team frindly.

Bgs:

The idea of bgs are nice, they are not like bgs in other games, but they should me there for any lvl cap like: 1 - 5 / 6 - 10 / 11 - 14 etc. but they should all benifit for the heigher cost in realm powers, drops, ect.

Like: a indicater that show the spec realms combats. and what that have done for the realm. and at a sepc lvl on that indicator they should be upend special dungens and so on.

Rvr:

This should work as a free rvr zone for all, but still keep a RR cap like: 1 - 3 / 4 - 6 / ect. becuse newcomers will be killed on sight and that, will allso make then leaves fast.

Pvp / Rvr combat bgs or upen zone:

If there is like ML, CL, RR etc. they should all get points for this areas, no matter where the player fights.

    Ok im just joking a little here i see you do your best, but with indeed poor english, mine btw is also not that good and with a long read its realy a pain to go through all of you write there.

    Sorry hope someone can translate it and make it more pleasant to read.

    maybe your ideas are better suited for the DAOC general discussion? there is one on this site if you find DAOC in the Game List.

    But yeah, I would also like to see a "remove face" skill lol.
