[New Players] What to see the Darkfall world?

I noticed a lot of people interested in the game have come asking questions about the world and such. I want to share this map that I think will help both new and prospective Darkfall players understand the world.

This is -THE- tool used by players to find things. (Like Thottbot for WoW). Just click the sidebar to see locations of everything from player cities to npc cities to spawns to housing villages.

.... and just to put some perspective on the scale of the overall world map (since just looking at a map without a point of reference is kinda useless)...

Look at these two locations. You can enter them at the top of that frame thingy on the right side.



12'12"W 21'25"S - Leafhelm

5'21"E 26'33"S - Clan City location.



Zoom out far enough to get both of those locations on the map at the same time...

That run, each way, took me about 1.5 hours on foot... without a mount, being "cautious" of PK's, being attacked by a big frigging dragon on one trip, and stopping to regen stamina every so often. Of course, if you could go as the crow flies, without interruption, it would probably take closer to an hour.
