FFXIV beta start when??

in Final Fantasy XIV

So.. when does everyone think the beta will start, i was thinking January 1st.

this should give them enough time to pick people to test right?

    When I applied to the european FFXI PC Beta...it tooks three months till the beta started. 

    Played FFXI, AoConan, Silkroad Online, Ether Saga Online. Waiting for FFXIV!

    ah, that's not too bad thought it would be earlier but that would be good if it started in March or something.

    Not anytime soon. Beta registrations often open long before the actual beta starts.

    I'd say spring or summer at best.

     Well they said release is set for 2010 and they want XIV beta to last longer than XI did. Too bad I don't know how long XIs beta lasted. I'm gonna guess XIV will be 6-8 months in beta though. Beta will probably start in February or March.

    It'll start between Feb. -  April if they want a 5-8 month Beta and release it before 2011.

    My guess is no sooner than March, most likely after FFXIII launch in March 9. It makes sense if they plan to follow a schedule similar to previous FFXI beta selection.

    You forgot that FFXIII is already released in Japan. I don't think they'll plan beta invites following FFXIII NA release. But March is still a good guess hehe
