help making text readable?

Hi I just started the trial and i have to say the chat and game text is very blurry and tiny to me.  I asked in game if there was something i could do and they told me to change my video settings.  Makes sense, So I open up options but they didn't have anything for the text or even to change the resolution that I saw.

 

So, my question is can i change the resolution in game or will i have to change it from the desktop every time i play, assuming that even helps?  Are there any other settings to make the chat and other texts bigger?

 

My screen resolution on my 22 inch monitor is 1680 x 1050.

 i dont play fallen earth but i do run a 22 inch screen at that res, and my 17 inch laptop at the same res, sounds like the text issue is def in the game itself as im blind without my glasses and can still read normal text on both screens at that res =D

I play at the same size monitor and the same resolution. The orgiginal font gets blurry and hard to read when I take off my glasses. You should get your eyes checked:)

Thank you very much, I went down to the next available resolution and put the chat font on medium with your help!

I got my eyes checked a few months ago, I was told there was no change but thanks for the suggestion just the same.
