questions about eq2

I have been playing the WoW stress test, and i have to say i have a so so opinion of this game.I used to read some of the forgotten realm books years ago, and i like WoW because it is very easy to relate to forgotten realms, which i like very much.The game seems just a little to easy though, i would rather not have a character lvled to 60 in a few weeks.The customization of characters is horrible IMO.This also leads to people getting the same items from quests.

I havent tried EQ2, only read about it.How is the customization?How is crafting?Is the world huge(im guessing it is)?Is there alot of roleplaying?How are quests? those are just a few questions i have.

Im just hesitant to put down 50 bucks up front for WoW when right now i dont really have an urge to log in and play.If only out of the 10 billion times i tried to get into eq2 beta i could have gotten an acount.
