Why do some players of EQ2 get insulting when talking about WoW?
I just never could understand that, why not just go with the understanding that we all have things we look for in a MMOs the others may want different thing in there games (I played Lineage II, thought it was nice to look at but it did not have traits I liked and wanted, but others seem to think it was a good game, after all its still doing ok) I doesn't make one better then the other.
I am just seeking a better understanding of us all.
I am also putting this up on the WOW forum.

Exactly what's happening:
If people don't like a game, or are playing a game and not satisfied with it, this is where they come to let everyone else know how they feel. (for some reason) People RARELY come here to tell people how much they enjoy it.
Another reason, people dislike everyother other MMORPG than the one they are currenlty playing. And since everyone doesn't play the same MMORPG, everyone will dislike many.
When I was playing SWG, I refused to admit it was a bad game because I put so much time into it and advertised it as such a great mmorpg (It really wasn't, and I realized later everyone else was right about it) People just hate to admit breing wrong.
EQ2 players get insulted becuase they invested their time and effort into EQ2, becuase they looking at the other alterantives and decided WoW a very poorly made MMORPG. And from their point of view (and mine0 EQ2 is a brilliant work of art. They just get annoyed becuase other people like a game becuase theyre idiots and can't see that EQ2 is the better one. (Sorry thats a little bias, but thats just my point
)
The same thing goes with WoW players and what they think about EQ2. They just attract differen't (ages/maturity levels/deticaion levels) of players. This is why "we all can't just get along". We're all human damnit!

Some folks just cannot stand not having made the 'right' choice.
Some folks having made a choice, must 'hate' all other choices.
Some folks think that everyone must think as they do, or they are retards.
Some folks just have not walked the planet long enough.
The real problems begin when such folks are put in charge in real life.
Then, people begin dieing for real.
