    So I am confused.

    On the EQ II FAQ it says there is no PvP.

    Watching the promotional video, it seems to show two groups of opposing races facing off against each other, one group of good races against a group of evil races.

    So is there alignment based good versus evil, pvp?

    There is no PvP at current. One of the things they did say that I remember in one of the movies ( I believe it was the walkthrough one where one of the developers is speaking(comes on the character creation cd and on their official site)) is that while taking on group based monsters they too will be grouped. So while your player group is made up of fighters, casters, healers, buffers, etc so will the enemy groups be setup the same way.  I think that might have been what you've seen. A group taking on a group of NPCs that happen to be humanoid that were setup in that group based nature. I think they also said they will respond the way player groups do once fighting starts.

    I agree it was. I wish they had released more like this. The ones done by fansites were great but more like this and if they were official from SOE would have been great.

    I really enjoyed that video too. It gave a real sense of how the characters move, what they look like, what the gameworld looks like and how combat looks. I found it to be very impressive. I can't wait to actually get inside the game and test it all out. I'll probably wander around just looking at things for a whole day or more. lol
