This is game is like battle.net games and Blizzard. Blizzard lacks a good RPG besides WoW. I think Guild Wars is the best game out there right now with combinations of Missions and Things to do. GW is the greatest team-based third person online rpg around, I must admit. The competitiveness is just in a class of it's own. I'm still going to play only WoW, though, since it is the greatest MMORPG around. Tough choice but I see WoW still evolving in the future and it's great even now. GW is probably at it's greatest at release, but come bots, dupes and hacks, it's evolution will go into fixing these, not evolving the game. Well... dupes might not happen because of the nice item system, but hacks will at least. After all Koreans have pre-ordered 1.5 million of these babies. I see GW dominating UT2004, tribes vengeance, Half-Life 2 and all the other old-fashioned online frag fests and if I get the money to spare on it I sure as hell will... and you should too.
this game is awesome i played the WPE on a 56k connection and i was pvping 1/2 the time after i had the level downloaded i never died from lag! this game is gods gift to 56kers.
Going to have to say Hot! And even though I'm going to be buried playing in WoW I'm going to make time to play the GW weekends and buy this game when it comes out. Like a few others there are some more RPG elements that I would like to see in this, but even in this games present state its just non stop fun. I cant wait to see what this game is like 6 months after release.. will they add housing? explorable buildings? mounts? warmachines? this game has unlimited potental for growth and will change the way MMORPGs are done... IMOHO

Guild Wars will make it very well on the markets, as my clan Nano Alliance located at http://213.148.255.4/~lisuix/nanoalliance/forum/. We are waiting a very long time for this game and this game really rocks. They've changed alot in GW from E3 to WPE. Too bad the beta event is only at every first weekend of the coming months until it is released. And afcourse one of the reasons to buy for a MMORPG: No monthly fees ! And also the graphics are great. I think this will become one of the best MMO's.
GuildWars will be the next big "sleeper hit". I am a moderator at one of the official fansites and I have more than a dozen people complaining every day that they want to play the game asap.

The best part is; the statement is true indeed. The gameplay is like nothing you have seen on the MMO market. The graphichs has got the atmosphere of WoW combined with the visualy stunning effects and animations, in fact the game runs smoother than WoW!. The removal of monthly fees makes the game even more attractive, and will definitly draw a lot of gamers who can not afford or doesn't have a credit card.
I rate this game as HOT!

I saw good posts here, I liked WoW, it`s good and if i had enough money ,probably i`d play it.But even then i`ll play GW.I`m waiting for this game, can`t buy pre-order package - that`s my dream , just because it isn`t selling where i live..this sux a lot.
I saw too,many posts which includes not a good opinion for 20 lvl, take it easy boys in the full version there wil be many levels , like Diablo.
But i don`t like one thing and it is that so many people put GW to Diablo , come on boys, it is something more , i could say - it`s the coolest thing

I love guild wars althought it really doesnt have the "danger" element of a tradiational mmorpg (good and bad thing). The PvP is a blast, espeically the 8 way pvp.
I can tell this is going to be the best MMORPG of all times, this game is going to make history for being the first without monnthly fee, and if the game is so popular now before the release, i can imagine that after the release its gonna be a relly big big BOOM, the game is going to be so popular that the servers will be completely filled, i dont know if their servers are big enough to hold so many players, but this game will be played for years and years, just like StarCraft, and the developers are going to be very very rich ... Enjoy your Wars.
spidervenom you made a mistake...GW won`t be the greatest MMORPG ever, i could say it won`t be MMORPG at all...they call GW CORPG...so i wonder what`s doing on this site (someone got to make corpg.com )
It seems to me this game is quite the hot topic due to this poll. Better yet this game is on fire for all who don't think so they have a open event this saturday at 12 am and it lasts 2 days. Even though thats not nearly enough time to give you the full flavor of GW but it should give you a taste.

no monthly fee, GREAT graphics, promotes skill instead of time played, just in general super kick buttness.
this is truly the best MMORPG i can think of because of the said attributes above.
