aion account hacked

those bastards hacked my account on aion i think cant login anymore i tryed everything and that contact support sucks like hell what to do boohoo :(

    I tryed the forgot password option you need to input some info but i forgot what it was now i cant do anything :(

    You do know that they run maintence every Wed morning for 3 to 4 hours,  thus nobody can log on right now.

     There's been a heavy rise in account thefts on Aion in the past few weeks, their belief is that gold farmers are behind the account thefts, using the accounts to replace their gold farming bots that are being banned in droves. Have you clicked on any in-game links recently? Bought gold (You don't have to admit it here)?

    Scan your computer for viruses, trojans, and keyloggers, and then change your NCsoft master account password. Also consider changing some of your other passwords as well, but don't do any of that until after you've scanned your computer.

    there was a dude that used whisper to me about buying gold or something only thing i said was nope nothing else but if this game had maintance or whatever its called today mabye thats why i thougt it was hacked didnt know there was maintance but now my other problem is mabye they closed my account :(  im not sure

    Right, you can't remember your account details that would allow you to reset the password and you are assuming your account has been hacked when it sounds equally possible you might just have forgotten your password. And somehow this is NCsoft's fault.

     

    To hack an account someone needs to guess not only your username but your passord. Unless you have done something incredibly stupid like picking a username that is obvious like "fred" or "barney" and equally stupid password like "wilma" or "betty" then your account isn't going to get hacked. Unless you do something else incredibly silly like going to a non-developer website and giving them your details.

     

    Hackers aren't psychic but they aren't stupid either so don't be stupid when you create an account name and password.
