alright i was really sold on WoW im beta testing it now but that video looked awsome. the fighting looked very fast i didnt expect that from eq2. man i just dont know what to do.

Remember companies will always show you the best combat available, even if they script it.  I wouldn't base any opinion off a single video, even though its cool.

i spent some time in EQ2 beta...

if u liked the graphics on the video u better be wearing a diaper. u are gonna make a toon log into the game and then...YUP, that's right...someone is gonna crap your pants, and dont blame it on the cat.

i have graphics on high and most of the extras on.  the graphics are, in a word, insane.

2.66ghz, pent4, 1gig of ram, radeon 9800SE 256bit card.

if there wasnt as much zoning involved it would be the most emmersive thing u have ever played...nobody is perfect, EQ2 comes damn close.

That sounds awesome. I can't wait to experience the graphics. I really like to immerse myself completely when playing. (Of course my kids don't like that much. )

This was a very cool movie, thanks for sharing.

That being said, for those of us that got to be in beta, there's still so much more, it's amazing. In this movie only a few seconds of it had "cloth simulation" turned on, for instance, which seems like a minor thing but is still cool to see it in action.

I have an Athlon 64 3400+, Radeon 9800 256MB, 2 gig RAM and still couldn't turn on all the options. And, the graphics, while impressive, isn't all the game has---there's incredible sound, music and content.

IF you're the least bit open to not degrading EQ2 because it's not some other game and you actually play EQ2, you'll enjoy it.
