So, what MMO are you looking forward to this year?

Title says it all.
Personally, I like the look of SW:TOR as long as they don't make it too much of a single player game which i'm sure they probably will. I am also interested in FF14, even though I never played FF11. If all else fails, I will be looking forward to a sandbox like Mortal Online, or maybe I'll just have to settle for console games this year like in 2009 =

Only one I'm willing to try. If it is a flop I think I will lose interest in the genre for quite some time.

I guess I might be interested in Heroes of Telara. It looks alright, just not really sure on the company and the current state of the game.

Muh, fair enough, just SW:TOR I'm looking forward to, I don't know why people keep coming back to WoW, I certainly don't like how people act in that game, it's just full of trollers and elitism. Why would anyone want to play an old game anyway? All there is are not as many new places to level, new races and combos and mainly old areas been revamped but what's the point of revamping old areas which people hardly go to, everyone knows people don't make new characters anymore, why can't Blizzard give it up already and pull the plug on all the servers and focus on finishing Starcraft 2?

So you'll solo when the game comes out? So much for low level instances then, it's a stupid joke in MMORPG's I say.
I most likely will be playing Final Fantasy XIV. I'll be watching for any bit of information on World of Darkness Online and should that game make the 2010 launch date that has been mentioned a few times I will be playing that above all else (provided the CCP makes the kind of game I'd like with it, of course).
Outside of those two, nothing else coming up interests me enough to play.

It's 3pm on a snowy english new years day and there's about 50 people in the level 2-10 range on my server alone. Blizzard are revamping the lower level zones with the idea of incorporating the new advances in quest, phasing and z-axis technologies that we see in WotLK.

SW:TOR. Bioware are too good at what they do for anyone not to be interested in SW:TOR. It might flop, who knows, but it's definitely worth keeping an eye on.
Jumpgate: Evolution. Looks like a blast and a real interesting game. Real time space combat and beautiful visuals! Wish we knew more of the game though.
Star Trek Online. Pretty interesting MMO, though I have just about no faith in Cryptic and the game is currently devoid of interesting content. We'll see, but it definitely has potential. I really just want to "Make it so" while zooming around in my spaceship and killing Klingons.
All Points Bulletin'. Not sure if this can even be classified as an MMO, but who knows nowadays anyway, with how the genre has been transforming recently. The game looks fun and stylish as hell though, and seems very promising.
Guild Wars II. Was not a huge fan of the first, but the second seems very promising. Here's hoping it will live up to its potential!
Honorable Mentions:
DC Universe Online. Not particularly looking forward to this. I personally found both CoH and Champions Online to be boring games with no longevity, so I'm not sure I hold much hope for a superhero MMO genre. However, it is defintiely one of those titles one should keep an eye on, because it does have potential.
I would have said "Mortal Online" here as well, but it is becoming clear that the game will launch prematurely and will flop big time.
I would have also wanted to say "Dust 512", but since it is console exclusive I just don't care about it anymore. What was CCP thinking?
I would put "Final Fantasy XIV" up here as well, but I haven't played any of the predecessors and I'm not a fan so, meh.
Global Agenda. This, out of all the new releases, looks the least like an MMO. A lot of the game will be F2P though, so there's probably a lot of fun to be had anyway.

Yup, I'll solo .. along with my guild of other happy soloers. There's about 40 of us so far.
Maybe we'll group up, but I don't see TOR being the type of game where 40 "iconic" imperial agents gank a single "boss" jedi for phat loot. Least, I hope not. My impression of the game is of a story-driven RPG in a persistent world.

Well it seems odd that Blizzard chose to delay Starcraft 2 just so they can carry on with WoW, I'm not saying WoW's bad, the actual gameplay is nice but it's the biggest amount of actual players in WoW that are the problem, just go see their official forums and you'll see the most god awful online trolling community ever. I mean, would you really want to play a game if your new to the game and you ask for help and all you got were horrible replies and stupid old jokes like "you suck" and "Your mom" jokes, that to me does not sound like a game I would like to enjoy.
I'm looking forward to Old Republic and FF XVI. I'm not to excited for the WoW expansion at this point, but we will see what Blizzard has up it's sleeves when we start getting more details on what it will contain.

How can I try again if I binned the game already like 2-3 weeks ago? I'm sorry but from my experience Xbox Live seems much better than WoW, I was bullied on the WoW forums and I'm not bullied on Xbox Live, that's the difference.
It's an even bigger difference that I've met more good people while in WoW there hardly was anyone I could call a friend.

Uh no, not even close.
It is the worst I, and many others have ever seen by far, but that is an unfortunate side effect of the size of it's population.
WoW is a good game in it's own right, but a majority of fans, with exception of the most radical of protectors of the kingdom of WoW, will admit the community is a cesspool.
