Secondly, if you are 18 and AGREED to the TERM & CONDITIONS, then you signed a contract! If you don't know this, then I suggest re-taking your Law 101 class again. Because there has been several landmark cases that have clarified this in US courts, etc.. All sales are final <--- look that up bro, you might educate yourself. Then go onto "No refund policy" and learn more. More importantly, why do you care? Did you purchase the game, THEN decide to change your mind? There are consequences for that... just like any purchase. READ THE FINE PRINT!
Hello! Since you are so knowlegable in law please reconcile your statement above with the one below that lists the applicable EU law (Sweden is part of the EU.. in case you weren't sure). I provide the above since you seem so willing to tell people to educate themselves, you might appreciate the opportunity to do so yourself.
Directive 97/7/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 1997 on the Protection of Consumers in respect of Distance Contracts, applies to any consumer distance contract made under the law of an EU-Member State. It provides a number of fundamental legal rights for consumers in order to ensure a high level of consumer protection throughout the EU. The Directive applies to most contracts where a consumer and a supplier running an organised distance-selling scheme do not meet face-to-face at any stage until after the contract has been concluded.
According to the Directive the following consumer rights, among others, need to be respected:
•Provision of comprehensive information before the purchase
•Confirmation of that information in a durable medium (such as written confirmation)
•Consumer's right to cancel the contract within a minimum of 7 working days without giving any reason and without penalty, except the cost of returning the goods (right of withdrawal)
•Where the consumer has cancelled the contract, the right to a refund within 30 days of cancellation
•Delivery of the goods or performance of the service within 30 days of the day after the consumer placed his order
•Protection from unsolicited selling
•Protection from fraudulent use of payment cards
-------------------
I guess more importantly I will pose the same question back to YOU: WHY DO YOU CARE? If you are happy with your extended loan to SV more power to you. WHY DO YOU CARE that many of us are pissed and are within our rights (both US and EU) to get our money back? Why should it matter to you at all?

Thank you for that post Slapshot, I didn't feel like wasting my time with the obvious children on here to point out what you and Gnomad have been saying.
Maybe someday they will get burned bad enough and then they will pull their collective heads out of their collective arses and realize what fools they have been for all these years.
Clicking on accept button is NOT LEGALLY BINDING ESPECIALLY IF THE SELLER IS COMMITING AN ILLEGAL ACT which SV did by claiming no refunds (see the law quoted above and read your friggin CC agreement for starters). If some of you tools can't understand that then I have some properties in Florida and some bridges in NY that I have for sale. Just PM me your credit card info and social security numbers and I will get right on transfering the ownership to you via the First National Bank of Nairobi.
