If you would have READ the article of the OP ... you would realise he talks about the cross server LFG system and badge runs.
So SUPPOSE out of those MILLIONS of dungeon runs and MILLIONS of players there IS indeed an asshole who would group up with 3 other assholes to loot that VERY average item 200 you get at the end of a 3 boss heroic dungeon that takes10/ 20/30 minutes to run.... How insane painly is that really ??? compare to ... a 5 year old game where you can play in and have fun with in FULL manned content 24/24 (be it BG's/Pve whatever ). BTW this practice could ALSO happen in the OLD mechanics. There .... it sufficed to be ... the Group leader just to kick you and btw in 4 years of play it happened to me twice and it DID happen in the 4 hours run of BRD ....This can't be even done with the new system anymore
Um yeah, we're talking about the same thing. Not sure why you are getting all bent out of shape of me pointing out that yes, there are some a-holes in the game. I was just telling the person earlier in this thread to report them if it happens again. Good lord Zorn, even the blizzard CM said there some faults within the system and they are working to correct them. If they can admit it, why can't you?
Nice summary of the changes introduced by ActiBlizz to WoW. The most telling (and accurate statement) in the whole article was the following:
"As games get faster and more player friendly, the days of hardcore MMO grinds are soon coming to a close -"
It's only 10 years overdue, but at least it's finally happening. Like or hate WoW, we can thank the game for forcing MMOs to finally do some evolving from the UO/EQ mechanics that the entire genre stagnated under for years.
